Saturday night saw Ajax earn their sixth league win of the season. The final score against Fortuna Sittard at the Johan Cruijff ArenA was 5-2. Brian Brobbey scored in his debut match for Ajax 1. The other goals came from Davy Klaassen (2), Dusan Tadic and Quincy Promes.
Despite the win, Klaassen felt Ajax had not played their best. "I think all of us were trying to do something with the ball. Whenever Fortuna Sittard came forward, they were immediately dangerous. It was as if we had no energy, but we just weren't focused on the job in hand."
